Peter Ball, a well-known institutional funds marketer who quit Kames Capital earlier this year, has re-emerged as European sales chief for Japanese asset manager Nomura.

In his new role he will be “responsible for all aspects of distribution and client relations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa”, reporting to UK chief executive Richard Bisson, Nomura said in a statement on September 5.
