Nomura Asset Management is looking for additional distribution agreements to sell its Luxembourg domiciled mutual funds in Italy.
The Japanese fund manager registered all five subfunds of Nomura Global fund, its Luxembourg Sicav, in Italy at the end of last year. It currently sells its funds through Banca Popolare Commercio e Industria (BPCI), which is often seen as the first distribution stepping stone in Italy by the offshore mutual fund fraternity. BPCI sells a multitude of third-party funds.
