Nomura has rolled out a mentorship programme for hundreds of analysts and associates, as investment banks increasingly pull out the stops for junior bankers stranded away from training opportunities in the office.

The Japanese bank kick started the new programme for junior bankers in its global markets and investment banking units who have been with the firm for less than 18 months, according to a person familiar with the matter.
