Nomura to cut 30 fixed income managers

Nomura plans to cut about 30 managers from its fixed income unit, Bloomberg reported. The cuts will include Kieran Higgins, the bank's co-head of fixed income for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as Peter Hornick, who is head of fixed income sales for the Americas, according to Bloomberg. Steve Ashley, who was recently made global head of the division, told Bloomberg the changes would "help drive the next phase of our growth in global fixed income."
