London-based investment banking search firm OPSIS Executive Search has named Mike Thoms as head of its structured finance and asset securitisation practice.

Thoms joins from the financial industry, having most recently been head of origination and syndicate trading at Nomura in Hong Kong. Prior to that he was at Sumitomo Finance, where he headed an asset trading and sales team of twelve. The team moved to Sumitomo from ING in 1995.
