Nordea Private Equity, the private equity arm of Sweden-based Nordea Investment Management, has hired Kim Pedersen as a new partner in its fund-of-funds business.

Pedersen previously worked as an investment officer for the Washington State Investment Board, the $53bn (€54bn) public pension fund based in Seattle that has $13bn committed to private equity.
