Northern Trust Global Investments (NTGI) has appointed SG Asset Management (SGAM) as an additional manager to the Northern Trust UK Equity Fund. This is the first of three new appointments.

The UK Equity Fund, which has £300m under management, is part of the NTGI multi-manager pooled funds. Prakash Rajakaseran at Jupiter Asset Management, Philip Watson at Mirabaud TWH and Carolan Dobson at Abbey National Asset Managers currently manage the UK assets.
