Northern Trust Global Investments, the US-based custodian and asset manager, has been appointed as the securities lending agent for the European Investment Bank (EIB).

The EIB is the long-term financing institution of the European Union (EU) and is charged with contributing towards the integration, balanced development and economic and social cohesion of the member countries.
