Northern Trust has hired the former head of European cash equities at Citi for a senior role within its institutional brokerage division.

Glenn Poulter will join the Chicago-based bank's capital markets team in a senior global markets role, the company announced on Thursday. He will be responsible for selling the company's brokerage products and services to its clients around the world.
