Northern Trust Global Investments, the asset management firm, has recruited Daniel Sperrazza and Timothy Frechette from Fleet Investment Advisors to head fixed income research and trading.

Sperrazza, who will become director of fixed income research, previously held a similar position at Fleet, where he was also chief credit officer for the institutional and trust businesses with responsibility for overseeing money market and other book value funds.
