Norwegian scheme eclipses Calpers

The Norwegian Government Pension Fund - Global, has edged ahead of the $200.9bn (€168bn) California Public Employees Retirement System as one of the world's largest pension schemes, after growing 38% last year to Nkr1.4 trillion (€173bn).

The increase in assets included €27bn ($32bn) of transfers from the Norwegian government as well as investment returns of €16bn.
