The Nouveau Marché, the French market for technology and other high growth stocks, has limped to the end of 2000, falling well short of forecasts that it might finally close the gap on the Neuer Markt.

This week, the Nouveau Marché finally managed to notch up its 50th listing of the year, with the small IPO of Ixo, an internet content company.
