Numis, the traditionally City-focused investment bank, is gearing up to compete with larger rivals in continental Europe after opening its post-Brexit office in Dublin.

The investment bank has been hiring dealmakers, sales staff and compliance expertise as it builds a team of up to 15 people in the Irish capital, having opened the doors to its new European Union operation in late August.
