London-based broker Numis has launched a new business to help young firms raise capital, following the trend of larger investment banks which have built relationships with companies at an early stage.

The new business, which will have a wide remit but predominately focus on technology firms, aims to help companies raise secondary and pre-flotation capital, focusing on sums of £25 million or more.
