NYSE executive Joseph Mecane to leave firm

Mecane had served as an executive vice president overseeing markets

Joseph Mecane is the latest executive set to depart from the New York Stock Exchange, according to people familiar with his plans.

Confirmation of his departure comes a week after IntercontinentalExchange Group, which bought NYSE Euronext last year for $11 billion, announced that Duncan Niederauer, NYSE's former chief executive, had retired six months ahead of schedule.
