NYSE plans IPO test as Uber nears debut

Trading firms will have opportunity to hone systems before ride-hailing service goes public

The New York Stock Exchange will give trading firms an opportunity to test systems used in initial public offerings as it gears up for the blockbuster debut of Uber Technologies as soon as next month.

The test is scheduled for Saturday morning and is being carried out in preparation for upcoming IPOs, the exchange said in a notice to traders on April 22.
