NYSE to reveal trading data to clients

The New York Stock Exchange, which last month merged with Euronext to form the first transatlantic stock market group, has reacted to the threat of increasing domestic competition by providing US companies listed on its exchange with "real-time" insights into how their own stock trades for the first time.

NYSE yesterday launched an enhanced version of a service that offers listed companies a window onto trading patterns in their own shares.
