NYSE’s move to longer trading hours leaves European traders cold

As New York sounds out an extension, Europe wants to go the other way

As The New York Stock Exchange gauges appetite for 24-hour trading, traders in Europe are asking for less.

The NYSE recently sent out a survey to see whether market participants would want the option to trade shares around the clock, the Financial Times reported on 22 April.
