NYSE's Reed promises to curb executive pay

John Reed, interim chairman of the New York Stock Exchange, pledged that senior executive pay will be overhauled after it emerged that members of the management team had accumulated $140m(€119.41m) in pay and benefits.

In a letter to NYSE members over the executive pay plan Reed said that for next year and beyond there would be modification of the executive pay plan.
