Los Angeles-based private equity firm Oaktree Capital Group has hired finance veteran Peter Preisler as head of marketing for Europe and Africa.

Preisler has joined Oaktree from asset management T Rowe Price, where he spent 15 years leading the firm’s institutional sales, client and marketing teams, a statement released by Oaktree said.
