Ex-Lloyds operations director joins asset management boutique

Octopus Investments has appointed a new chief operating officer who previously had stints at Lloyds Banking Group, BT and Orange

Boutique asset manager Octopus Investments has recruited the former operations director at Lloyds Banking Group as its new chief operating officer.

Alex Miller joins the company after three years at Lloyds Banking Group as strategy and operational performance director. While at Lloyds he was responsible for leading the strategy, design and delivery of the bank's operational programme. He left the bank last month, according to his LinkedIn profile.
