Odgers Ray & Berndtson, the headhunter formed from last year's merger of Odgers and Ray & Berndtson, has acquired The Berwick Group, a niche executive search firm specialising in financial services.

Under the chairmanship of veteran headhunter Roddy Gow, the financial services search practice in London is expected to double in capacity, offering a broad-ranging service to clients on a global basis.
