Offers of financial aid grow after US tragedy

Hank Paulson, chief executive of Goldman Sachs, has become the latest in a growing line of individuals and companies offering financial assistance in the aftermath of Tuesday's terrorist tragedy in the US.

In a memo to staff at Goldman, Paulson said the firm would donate a minimum of $10m to the families of victims of the attacks.
