Kevin Carter, the former chief executive of Old Mutual Asset Managers and a well-known fund management industry personality, has joined Watson Wyatt, the international consultancy firm.

In his new capacity at Watson Wyatt, Carter will be involved in advising some of the firm's largest pension scheme clients and in supporting its manager research effort. Watson Wyatt has recently offered a multi-manager process in continental Europe through its research agreement with Crédit Agricole
