Rogge Global Partners, the specialist fixed income manager owned by Old Mutual, has suffered the loss of a $594m (€608m) mandate from the $22bn Illinois Teachers' Retirement System.

The pension fund said it had terminated the London-based firm's international fixed income brief for performance reasons. Rogge refused to comment on the loss.
