Michael Dobson's arrival as Schroder Investment Management's chief executive may be good enough news to at last allow Schroders to update its website archive of press articles about the firm.

Hundreds of articles have been written about Schroders over the past two years as it has undergone a demerger, senior departures and a swathe of redundancies, not to mention institutional mandate losses. But at the moment, only three articles are posted on the Schroder website - the most recent dated January 2001.
