OMHex, the company created by the merger of OM Group, and Hex, the Helsinki Stock Exchangeoperator, has begun trading and has appointed Magnus Böcker, president and chief executive of OM, as chief executive of OMHex.

OMHex operations are based on two divisions: Hex Integrated Markets, which includes the Stockholm, Helsinki, Riga and Tallinn stock exchanges, and OM Technology, which builds transaction technology for financial and energy markets.
