Investment banking boutique Ondra Partners has taken the rare step of hiring a partner from outside the firm.

Virginie Banet, former global head of corporate coverage at French bank Natixis, will be based in the firm's Paris office and cover the boutique's clients in the country, with a focus on aerospace, defence and technology, according to people familiar with the matter.
