The European arm of US financial services group Oppenheimer & Co has hired a technology and telecoms investment banking team, and begun building out a family office group, as it continues to expand in the region.

Xavier Moreels has joined as a managing director and head of technology and telecoms investment banking, while Nigel Daly joins as executive director in the same team, according to an internal memo seen by Financial News.
