The former head of fintech investment banking at Credit Suisse, who made the switch across to UBS last year, has left to join Nomura in a senior role.

Orazio Tarda has been named head of technology, media and services for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at Nomura, according to a statement from the Japanese bank. He will be based in Milan and report into Patrice Maffre, its head of international investment banking.
