UK mid-cap broker Oriel Securities has recruited 12 analysts and sales people in a bid to make good mass defections revealed by Financial News in September.

The individuals include real estate specialists Alan Carter and John Cahill, who have been hired from Investec Securities. They will replace gaps left by Matt Saperia and Carl Gough, who departed in September.
