Pierre Danon, ousted as chief operating officer at French IT consultancy Cap Gemini last month after press reports said he was looking for jobs elsewhere, is joining JP Morgan as a senior adviser.

JP Morgan said Danon will advise clients in the telecommunications, media and technology sectors and try to win new business. He will join the JP Morgan European Advisory Council, a group of senior bankers.
