Ousted Mondas chief fails to win shareholder support

Shareholders at Mondas, the trading technology company, have rebuffed an attempt by founder Tim Simon to be reinstated as chief executive after being removed by the board two months ago.

At an annual general meeting last Friday, shareholders voted against Simon's proposal that he be returned to the board along with two non-executive directors and that he replace Jarlath McGee as chief executive.
