Out-of-favour private equity trusts may prove good investment

The worst year for private equity since 1993 may prove a blessing for some private equity trusts, whose prices are close to bottom after some over aggressive selling, according to a report from HSBC.

HSBC's report suggests that now may be a good time for investors to buy into the trusts as prices represent good value, providing the economy improves.
