Over half of City expects bonuses

Sixty percent of City workers expect a bonus this year, but many think payouts will be smaller than last year

The economy may be in the doldrums and new jobs harder to find than ever, but over half of the City’s financial services professionals still expect to receive a bonus this year, according to research.

Morgan McKinley's annual bonus expectation survey, which polled over 500 respondents, suggests that 60% of City workers are confident of receiving a bonus for 2012/2013, with 57% expecting awards matching last year's.
