Oxfordshire shuns balanced fund mandates

The pension fund of Oxfordshire County Council is to follow a number of its peers and switch from a balanced to specialist fund manager line-up.

The local authority has put out to tender a number of briefs worth a total of £495m (€770m). The fund uses Deutsche Asset Management and Schroder Investment Management, who both run balanced mandates on an equally split basis.
