Deutsche Bank has promoted a financial institutions group banker to fill the new position of head of Latin America equity capital markets, a year after appointing a head of mergers and acquisitions and country heads in the region.

Enrique Pani will work in the bank's capital markets and client coverage platforms. He will report to both Marcelo Blanco, head of capital markets and client coverage for Latin America, and Mark Hantho, vice-chairman and head of equity and equity-linked capital markets for the Americas.
