Panmure Gordon has added a senior executive to lead its financial institutions group as part of the City investment bank’s expansion plans under its new owners.

Stephen Howard will lead the group’s financial institution activities. He was previously head of European investment banking at financial services-focused rival Keefe, Bruyette & Woods.
