Panmure, the UK investment banking arm of Germany's WestLB, has won its second broking client since it refocused its business to concentrate on its traditional UK broking activities last month.

Kier Group, the UK building and engineering company, appointed Panmure as its corporate broker, increasing Panmure's presence in the UK construction industry. Earlier this month Panmure was appointed joint broker with Cazenove to SIG, the UK insulations specialist.
