It has been a very busy few weeks at dunhill. I have made two trips to Asia and was in Scotland for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championships. This is one of the highlights of the year and brings me great enjoyment. It isn’t often that you have the pleasure of watching Huey Lewis throw his golf ball from a bunker on the 17th hole at St Andrews and watch it go straight in, or indeed listen to Johan Cruyff, Marco van Basten and Ruud Gullit discuss the merits of the Dutch football team.

Now in its 9th year, the Alfred Dunhill Links Championships, which took place between October 1-4, is a unique event and we are very fortunate to be sole sponsor. A celebration of links golf, which many believe is the purest form of the game, the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship is played over three magnificent Scottish links courses - the St Andrews Old Course, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns.
