One of the most popular characters in UK pensions, Chris Parrott, pensions manager at retailer House of Fraser, is moving to airport operator BAA, where he will be the company’s reward manager focusing on pensions.
Sources in the UK pensions industry said Parrott was working through his notice period at House of Fraser's pensions scheme, which has about £400m of assets, and will join the much larger BAA scheme, with about £2bn in assets, in late November. His new role will be broader than his job at House of Fraser, as it will focus on benefits, but he will still be engaged predominantly with pensions.
