Part'Com is following the trend of semi-captives spinning out of parent companies.

The Paris-based media and venture capital firm is in talks to leave the fold of its parent, CDC Ixis Private Equity, the private equity arm of the French investment bank, which is rethinking its exposure to the communications venture capital sector.
