Shares in Partners Group, the Swiss alternative asset manager set up by three former Goldman Sachs bankers, soared more than 25% on their first day of trading after the group's Sfr504.6m (€320m) flotation today.
Partners sold 8.01 million shares, or 30% of the company, this morning at Sfr63 each, at the higher end of the Sfr56 to Sfr67 price range. The shares opened 27% higher at Sfr79.95, giving Partners a market capitalisation of Sfr2.1bn.
