Patsystems, a developer of derivatives trading systems, has formed a strategic partnership with Direct Access Financial Corp (DAFC), a US developer of equity trading systems, to launch J-Stox, a single platform for global derivatives and US equity trading.

The initiative is being driven by the growing trend towards electronic trading in the US and the introduction of universal stock futures, both in the US and the UK. Patsystems has been developing its connectivity to the larger stock exchanges, such as London Stock Exchange's Sets and Deutsche Börse's Xetra trading systems, since last year.
