Ron Beller, the founder of hedge fund firm Peloton Partners which imploded in February 2008 as one of the highest profile casualties of the credit crunch, has staged a comeback in San Francisco. He moved there with his family last year.
He has launched a new hedge fund firm, in partnership with former Peloton colleague Manal Mehta, called Branch Hill Capital, named after the area where he used to live in Hampstead, North London.
