Investment executive Andrien Meyers has appealed to the authority to take action against racial inequality in the light of the Black Lives Matter protests.

Meyers, head of treasury and pensions at the London Borough of Lambeth, which has assets of over £1.4bn, also serves as the only mixed-race, mixed heritage male councilman at the City of London Corporation — and he happens to be one of the youngest too.
