Pension funds more active on investment

UK pension fund trustees are increasingly willing to sack poor performing managers and change investment strategies.

One in six pension funds switched asset classes or changed fund managers in 1999, compared to one in seven in 1998, according to the Pension Fund Review 1999 by Caps, the performance measurer.
