Pension schemes slow to adopt Myners principles

UK pension schemes have been slow to adopt a number of the principles proposed by the 2001 Myners report on institutional investment, according to new research conducted by the UK government.

The research and case studies of 14 different occupational pension schemes is the first part of a two-stage process to assess whether pension funds have made changes since the report written by Paul Myners, the former chairman of Gartmore, was published almost three years ago.
