Perella seeks analysts for boutique

Joseph Perella, the former Morgan Stanley star dealmaker who is setting up an investment banking boutique, is looking for analysts and associates to join the business in London. The company, which remains unnamed, is due to launch in the next few weeks.

Perella has secured about $1bn (€790m) in backing for the boutique, which will specialise in providing mergers and acquisitions advisory, private equity and asset management services. It is understood $800m of the capital raised will be ploughed into private equity investments, with $200m to be used to launch the M&A business.
