Perella Weinberg bumps salaries for London analysts to £80,000

Boutique investment banks have followed larger rivals with salary increases

Perella Weinberg Partners has bolstered salaries for junior bankers to up to £80,000, as boutique firms have exceeded pay rises of larger rivals amid a race to keep hold of younger talent. 

The US-headquartered bank has increased salaries to £70,000 for first-year analysts in London and £80,000 for those in their second year, according to people with knowledge of the rises.
